Ganes loves teaching and mentoring students. He breaks down complex concepts and makes them easy to grasp, irrespective of student background.
He teaches business analytics and data science at top business and engineering schools in the US and India. He delivers guest lectures at schools such as Princeton University, Penn State, Rutgers University, and the Indian School of Business.
Ganes is an Adjunct Professor at NJIT’s Martin Tuchman School of Management, where he teaches business analytics.

Ganes teaches the 2023 Spring Semester course, “Decision Support Tools & Technology for Managers” at NJIT’s Martin Tuchman School of Management.
The course will introduce management students to the business applications of machine learning. With immersive industry case studies, it demystifies data visualization for decision-making and presents the latest trends in AI.

University Advisory
Ganes is on university advisory boards to help improve data & analytics course curriculum and program effectiveness.
He is on the advisory board of Seton Hall University’s Customer Experience Certificate program. He is on the Board of Studies for the MSc Ecological Informatics program at Digital University Kerala’s School of Informatics.
Student Mentoring
Ganes mentors graduate students on Capstone projects and career opportunities in data science.
Recently, he mentored students on a healthcare analytics project at Penn State. He advises Rutgers SC&I students on data science career opportunities at the school’s Annual Career Mingle events.
Judging Competitions
Ganes enjoys collaborating with students and helping them at hackathons and startup challenges.
He was on the industry panel at the 2021 Penn State Nittany AI Challenge. He will be judging the 2023 Augmented Intelligence for Health Bowl to address health disparities, hosted by Northwestern University.
